Dr. Blakeley Murrell-Liland followed her father into veterinary medicine, graduating from the Atlantic Veterinary College in Prince Edward Island, Canada in 2003. After an internship in small animal medicine and surgery at Tufts School of Veterinary Medicine, she worked at the Dover Veterinary Hospital for two years. After the birth of her first son, Finn in 2006 she decided to return to her roots and Kedron Valley Veterinary Clinic. Since that time, Dr. Blakeley (as she is fondly called) has been providing her childhood community with a blend of modern veterinary techniques and the home-town touch she inherited from her father. She lives with her sons, Finn and Sig in Quechee. Her household is completed by Bumble and Scout, two felines who rule the roost. When not practicing Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Blakeley can be found outside hiking, biking and camping with Scouts, in her kitchen preparing something to share with others or knitting.
